Adistar Racer Mapping Projection
Most artists loathe dust and consider it a threat to their work — but painter Scott Wade is not one of those artists. In fact, he owes his popularity to it. Wade is known for his skill of turning the dust of his native Texas into the ideal material to depict detailed scenes using the rear windows of automobiles as his canvas.
Impressive, innovative and gives a legitimate example to those whose cars that could use a little sprucing up.

밸런스.
살면서 무척이나 중요한 단어 중 하나다. 작년 회사에 입사한 후 정신없이 3개월을 보내고 그간 자의반 타의반 중단했던 마라톤을 다시 시작했다. 근육의 기억력은 역시 대단했고, 금새 예전 페이스를 되찾았다. 거기에 어제는 거의 내 역대 최고 페이스를 기록했다. 하지만 이 기록은 내 왼쪽 무릎에 통증을 선사했다. 달리던 도중 오른쪽 신발에 들어간 작은 모래알 한 개가 내 몸의 밸런스를 무너뜨린 것이다. 잠깐 멈춰서 모래를 빼고 뛰면 되는 일이었지만 기록에 대한 욕심 때문에 그렇게 하지 못한 것이 화근이었다. 밸런스란 이런 것이다. 본질적인 것을 등한시 하고 부수적인 것들에 눈을 돌리다 보면 밸런스는 어김없이 무너져 버린다. 혹자들은 인생을 마라톤이라 흔히 일컫는데 나는 마라톤이든 인생이든 밸런스라는 말을 하고 싶다. 끊임없는 선택의 순간순간 속에서 균형을 맞춰가며 앞으로 나아가는 과정. 그리고 밸런스를 맞추기 위해서는 중심이 필요하다. 그리고 균형있는 감각(시각도 포함)도.
